Vanessa Hudgens has done the LA thing for years now, and it sounds like she's ready for a change. The starlet apparently has decided to ditch Hollywood in favor of the Big Apple and has been telling friends about her decision at the Cannes Film Festival this week.
A source said: “She was super excited about it. She was also excited to hang with Rosario Dawson. The girls are working together soon."
Vanessa, who has been romantically linked with Josh Hutcherson since splitting from Zac Efron in late 2010 – has been a hit with the guys in France, but isn't letting anyone get too close.
The source added to E! Online: "At one point, three different groups of guys approached Vanessa and her friend to hit on them, but she graciously declined each time. Eventually Vanessa looked over at her friend and said, 'I just want to dance,' and the two proceeded to twirl around the party."
Apparently the move will happen in the next couple of months, so maybe the starlet will get her shot to be on Glee before relocating! She said she'd love to guest star on the hit show: "I'm all for musicals. I love what they are doing. I'm very go with the flow, so if it happens, awesome!" she said.
