ONE Direction star Zayn Malik has returned to America to rejoin his bandmates on tour following a death in his family.
The singer, 19, wrote on Twitter: "Back in the US can't wait to see the boys hopefully they haven't missed me too much aha ! :D x x"
Bandmate Harry Styles then uploaded a cheeky photo showing Zayn poking his tongue out, with the caption: "Like he never left."
Zayn quit the tour at the start of the month when his aunt died suddenly, returning to the UK to be with his family and attend her funeral.
At the time Harry wrote on Twitter: "Zayn has suffered a loss in his family and has had to go home for a few days so won't be at our next shows in the US.
"Our thoughts are with him and his family at this sad time."
The X Factor runners-up — who are in the States supporting felllow boyband Big Time Rush — were pictured performing as a quartet for the first time late last week.
