The pop-cultural zeitgeist may have moved on from Rebecca Black, the 13-year-old viral video sensation whose "Friday" effortlessly sparked more water-cooler conversations than the last three Lady Gaga videos combined based solely on not being very good.
But KatyPerry's doing all she can to make sure Black gets every second of those 15 minutes Andy Warhol promised.
In late April, Perry covered "Friday" at a concert in Australia.
Now, she's given Black another screen test in her own upcoming video for "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" - because it's just not Friday anymore with Rebecca.
In the video, due Tuesday, June 14, Perry's nerdy alter ego, Kathy Beth Terry, attends the same party as Black, who in a clear case of typecasting, smiles like she's having the best time any 13-year-old girl could hope to have.
